Beginning of a New Journey

Welcome to 'Journal of My Journey'!

A few days ago I watched a video of one of my favorite youtubers and the topic was blogging. The idea was to share your learning experience with the people out there 'while' you're on the process of learning something. (Here is the link to the video if you want to watch it.)

I really liked the idea of blogging because I felt it was just the thing I had been searching for subconsciously. A place of my own that I could decorate to my wish; where I could express myself however I wanted to. Most importantly, I could share this piece of my world with others using just a link!

The idea of a blogsite promised to fulfill all of these wishes. (It's also a quite quiet place compared to a social site :) )

Now, what is it that I want to share with you? If I were to make some points, it would be somewhat like this-

  • My learning journey of learning various things. I'm kind of addicted to learning new stuffs. Not necessarily it always has to be something important but there are some important stuffs on my learning list. It'll be my pleasure if you share a similar liking towards any of those and take inspiration from my experience!
  • Review or discussion of a favorite book, movie, anime or any content that I feel the urge to speak about.
  • Some self-improvement experience that helped me (and hopefully will in the future) in the way of living a better version of me.
  • Everything else that I haven't discovered yet!
I'll try to post weekly on Fridays or other day if the situation requires so.

Lastly, I will truly be happy if you would accompany me on my journey and enjoy the beautiful scenery with me together.

Have a good day :)

How the Nuclear Tests Destroyed the Lives of Innocent Islanders

Bikini Atoll The other day I was reading the story 'othoi shagor' of 'Tin goyenda' again after almost 8 years and learned about an interesting historical reference which I had completely ignored the first time I read it. Today I'm sharing that with you. After World War 2, during the cold war between the United States and Russia, the U.S.A. conducted some consecutive nuclear tests on different islands and atolls in the Marshall islands (the testing sites were given the name– Pacific Proving Grounds). These tests continued  for 12 years starting from 1946, to show the world how much power they had. According to the document, 105 nuclear tests were conducted in total. The first explosion took place at Bikini Atoll on 1July, 1946. (Atolls are ring-shaped coral islands.) Marshall Islands is situated in the South Sea of Pacific Ocean and it consists of many small islands and atolls. The atolls consist of smaller islands. In the mainland of the Bikini atoll, lived 167 ...

I was reading the first blog of this site while smiling like a parent smiles at his/her excited child. How excited I was about this 'kingdom' of mine that I was building. This actually was my happy place, a place I could express myself although I think I could do better in doing so.  It's been almost 4 years since I first wrote here and now that I look back, I feel like a totally new person. I'm glad I'm no longer as perfectionist and fearful of embarrassment as before, but I miss the desire I used to have to thrive for the better. Well, I'm still cluess about how my attitude towards life should be.  I didn't have a plan to continue writing in this blogsite anymore, so I thought I'd better say final goodbye to this so called "Journal of My Journey" at the final hours of 2024. People are going berserk outside with their fireworks for no reason. What I'm writing is not entirely registering in my head. I do intend to continue writing on anothe...
